Beautiful school with a big community spirit. The staff is dedicated to the children. The atmosphere is always calm and peaceful ( which surprised me a lot when I had a tour). Kids are respectful. Our son loves to go to school every single mornings. And that's what matters, isn't it?

Casa Mia Montessori School
This little school has been amazing for our children; they have thrived here. All the staff are talented and dedicated, and deliver individualised learning in a calm and respectful environment. Language, music & performing arts, and technology are included in the offering and are delivered by excellent specialised teachers. The wonderful families, and the classrooms, playground and school grounds also contribute to creating a peaceful space that the children look forward to going to each day. With early learning and primary school Casa Mia caters for ages 3 - 12, and also offers playgroup for younger toddlers.

Friendly staff, wonderful family community. Great facilities. The Pre School program has been structured in a way that really encourages children to learn and caters to each individual child's needs. I am excited to see the development of Casa Mia Montessori and look forward to the growth of extra curricular actives.

Casa Mia Montessori School
Casa Mia Montessori has been a wonderful school for my three boys, who are all very sensitive souls! The teachers are so committed to the kids and the community and making the school the best it can be. It has been wonderful to see my boys flourishing under their care and even coming home to tell me how much they love school every now and then! Who would have thought it was possible?! In fact, I just asked my son why he loves his school and he asked me to write - because it's a community and we all look after each other". This stands not just for the kids and the teachers

Casa Mia Montessori School
We have had a great outcome with the school. The community school has allowed us to build strong bonds with other families to give our family a group we can rely on when we need a extra hand. The ability to allow kids to extend and develop their knowledge in their favourite areas and to learn at their own rate has been great to watch. The introduction of languages and music from age 3 was important to us as was the respect and interest in the mother tongues of other students. Our oldest child has been well prepared for High school obtaining a GATE program entrance along with the skills to succeed in one of the largest high schools in the state. The school has provided great support to our youngest child. Our kids have both benefited from a small country-style school ( 30 families, shared age classrooms) where kids need to learn how to get along with different personalities and where the school is able to engage kids into managing their own learning outcomes.

Casa Mia Montessori School
My 5 year old has been attending this school since he was three. We love this school because of the focus on quality education for each individual as well as its community spirit. At Casa Mia Montessori, my son has the freedom to choose what he wants to learn but importantly, its within the scope and limits set by the teachers. Their focus on the difference aspects of the Whole child is important to our family because we believe there is more to life than just being successful academically.

Casa Mia Montessori School
My son graduated from Casa Mia Montessori Community School last year and has now began his high school journey. I have always loved Casa Mia - the small school atmosphere and the feeling of community; the kindness, respect and education children receive there. It is only this year though, that I can fully appreciate the quality and well-rounded education my son has received. He is confident, independent, responsible and capable. He has entered his first year of high school with absolute ease. I shouldn’t be surprised though, a Montessori education has been preparing him for this new found independence from the age of 3. At Casa Mia the children are required to be accountable for their work, self motivated and considerate of others. They are also able to be themselves at school as their individuality is nurtured and respected, and as a result they grow to be young adults who are comfortable in their own skin. The social learning environment a Montessori classroom provides has enabled my son to establish friendships with peers and teachers effortlessly, be a natural collaborator and have the confidence to jump in and get involved with all the fantastic opportunities high school presents. He understands his social responsibilities and the importance of being an ethical global citizen. My 10 year old daughter currently attends Casa Mia and is dyslexic. I didn’t know much about dyslexia when we discovered her learning difference, but the more research I do, the more I realise that a Montessori school is ideal for her learning style. Firstly, there is absolute respect for each child in a Montessori classroom regardless of their strengths and weaknesses - everyone is equal, so self esteem is kept in tact and children feel happy and safe at school. It helps that a Montessori classroom is non-competitive, each child is on their own journey and responsible for their own learning. Secondly, learning is hands-on, kinaesthetic and multi-sensorial in the early years - which is perfect for the dyslexic child (any child!). Casa Mia has a fantastic SPELD tutor who attends the school once a week to help any dyslexic students with explicit literacy instruction using SPELD approved programs. The small class size means that the teacher can provide more individualised attention where required.I really can’t thank Casa Mia Montessori Community School enough for their contribution to my children’s education and well being. I highly recommend the school and it’s inclusive community to any prospective families.

Casa Mia Montessori School
We changed schools from a mainstream, public school to Casa Mia with our eldest child 3 years ago. It's been the best thing we could have done for our child's education. Her love of learning has returned, she is happy and confident again and it's all because of Casa Mia Montessori School. Now, seeing our youngest child start school in Casa Mia and going through the Montessori Method we have realised just how effective and holistic it is. We wish we had started it sooner for our eldest. The school community is amazing, close knit and supportive. The kids regularly catch up after school, on school holidays and most of the time do extra curricular activities together. They are well-rounded and can easily converse and feel confident in the wider community. We couldn't ask for a better school and education for our children.
